At The Anchor Ballroom, we understand it can feel overwhelming to find a good venue rental, so we’d like to share some of our top tips for choosing the ideal setup for your special occasion.
- Get RSVPs from guests. Before you can start looking at venue rental options, you’ll need to know an approximate number of people who will be attending your event. Request RSVPs from guests ahead of time so you won’t be scrambling to find a venue with enough room at the last minute.
- Consider the venue’s accessibility. A great venue rental should be easy for guests to find, have plenty of parking space, and have accessible entryways for visitors with disabilities or mobility issues. If your event will be held far away from guests’ homes, you should also consider if there are nearby hotels or other places where they can stay overnight.
- Always visit the venue in person. A venue rental may look gorgeous in photos, but you won’t be able to get a good feel for the space until you explore the facility in person. If you’re ever on the fence about a certain place, we highly recommend scheduling a tour so you can determine if it will suit your needs or not.
